Polysciences
Polysciences technical operations and scientific laboratories offer custom synthesis, contract manufacturing and packaging, and laboratory products. The EHS Manager plays a critical role in ensuring the safety of employees, environmental compliance, and the overall well-being of the facility. This position involves developing, implementing, and maintaining safety and environmental programs to minimize risks associated with chemical manufacturing and handling. The EHS Manager is responsible for creating a culture of safety and environmental stewardship within the organization. The EHS Manager is crucial for maintaining a safe and compliant operation. This role involves a combination of technical expertise, regulatory knowledge, and leadership to ensure the well-being of employees, protection of the environment, and the overall success of the facility. This position will be onsite and located in our Warrington, PA facility.
Essential Functions:
Qualifications
Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or Occupational Environmental Health and Safety or other applicable area
Preferred: Graduate Degree (Master's or PhD)
Certification(s):
Relevant professional certifications, such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) are preferred.
Computer Skills Required:
Microsoft office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), EHS Insight-preferred, Paycom, SAP.
